Notice of Public Hearing Dorchester County Water Authority Water Rate Increase
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Directors of the Dorchester County Water Authority at 5:30 pm on Monday, March the 17th, 2025. The hearing will be held at the office of Dorchester County Water Authority, which is located at 967 Orangeburg Road, Summerville, SC. The purpose of the public hearing will be to allow members of the public to express their views regarding a water rate increase for customers of Dorchester County Water Authority. All people who attend the public hearing will be given an opportunity to speak. As required by section 6-11-150, Code of laws of South Carolina 1076, as amended, the public is advised of the following:
The Dorchester County Water Authority board will meet to discuss proposed water rate increase effective July 1, 2025.
